What it is
Trace9 watches the health and performance of an entire IT estate: networks, servers, applications, databases, cloud, containers, storage and IoT. Its AI engine, Trace9 AI, learns each system’s normal baseline, forecasts availability and capacity, and flags anomalies. It installs on-premises, in the cloud, hybrid or fully air-gapped.
What I did
- As a senior engineer I led R&D for national-scale telecom and transport-network monitoring deployments, and built the OpenShift and OpenStack monitoring.
- I built the dashboards that tell a network outage from a power outage, which matters when the infrastructure cannot go down.
- As development manager I took the team through the full delivery cycle and delivered a major Trace9 release to five enterprise clients.
- As CTO I own its roadmap, its editions and licensing, and Trace9 AI. Agentic AI for Trace9 is in development.
- I answer for its engineering and stay hands-on in it: I develop, set the plans, review code and give the teams working on specific areas their direction.
